href=\"https:\/\/happieanimals.com\/de\/genetische-defekte-in-pferden\/\">angeborene St\u00f6rung<\/a>, welche Araber und Araber-Mischlinge betrifft.<\/p><p>Es zeichnet sich durch eine ausgepr\u00e4gte lavendelfarbene oder blaugraue F\u00e4rbung der Haut, Augen und Schleimh\u00e4ute aus, die durch eine Anh\u00e4ufung von Bilirubin im Blut verursacht wird. Bilirubin ist ein Abbauprodukt der roten Blutk\u00f6rperchen und wird bei normalen Pferden von der Leber aus dem K\u00f6rper entfernt und mit dem Kot ausgeschieden.<\/p><p>Bei Pferden mit Lavendel-Fohlen-Syndrom ist die Leber jedoch nicht in der Lage, das Bilirubin aus dem Blut zu entfernen, was zu Gelbsucht und der charakteristischen F\u00e4rbung von Haut und Augen
