Die Gangver\u00e4nderung wird durch eine mechanische Einschr\u00e4nkung der Bewegung der Hintergliedma\u00dfe verursacht und ist nicht unbedingt auf Schmerzen zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren. <br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\" data-sheets-value=\"{\" data-sheets-userformat=\"{\">Die Verletzung und Vernarbung der Kniesehnenmuskulatur im oberen Teil der Hinterhand des Pferdes f\u00fchrt zu einer klassischen Gangver\u00e4nderung mit Verk\u00fcrzung der vorderen Phase des Schritts, Verlust der Dehnbarkeit des normalen Muskels und Aufschlagen des Fu\u00dfes auf dem Boden. Die Verletzung kann durch eine einzige traumatische Verletzung dieser Muskeln (Hyperextension-Verletzung) oder auch durch wiederholte Belastung entstehen.
