Our equestrian app start-up “Happie Horse” is searching for a dedicated UX Research Intern to join our team. It is our goal to combine technology and our love for horses and animals to create a unique and versatile app that addresses the specific needs of equestrians, providing innovative solutions to improve their horse’s well-being, health, training and overall management.

Your Responsibilities:

User Research

• Conduct insightful user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gain a deep understanding of the equestrian community’s needs and preferences, especially for new features we plan to develop AND old features that could be improved, it is your responsibility to fully understand where problems might lie and why certain users could leave the app

Persona Development

• Create detailed and empathetic user personas to inform the team of user-centered features and experiences.

Competitive Analysis

• Evaluate and analyze competitor apps and products in the equestrian industry, identifying opportunities for differentiation and improvements

Usability Testing

• Plan and execute usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and identify areas for enhancements

Team Work:

• Work in tandem with the team

Documentation

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of research methodologies, findings, and actionable recommendations.

• Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or a related field.
