What does the gait analysis and GPS tracking offer?

Gait Analysis

Begin the gait analysis right before you start your training. That way you can track the duration of each gait to keep an eye on the intensity of your ride.

Track Route

Start recording and make sure GPS is enabled on your phone when hacking out. You can check your exact route on a map after your ride.

See Duration & Speed

The analysis offers an overview of duration and speed. You can see your specific speed during the entire ride as well as the average and maximum speed you have achieved.

Training Journal

You can find past recordings in your training journal on the start page. It includes all information on your past rides. This offers you a thorough overview of your horse's training.

Disciplines

You can choose between several different types of training types when entering your training into the app. From dressage and showjumping to polo or working equitation, we offer it all.

Charity Miles

Collect miles against breast cancer. Support the charity Pink Ribbon, and collect miles with our gait tracking.

*limited access

You can now officially create as many horse profiles as you want! Even with the freemium version of the app.

We all know that more horses equal more fun, but also more management and work. Now you can plan all of your horses’ days and keep track of their health.

Of course! Decide between read access and full access.

Read access allows a person to view the entered data (e.g. for the vet). Full access allows other users to enter or change data themselves (e.g. riding partners, stable staff).

When you are on the start page, you have to swipe right to get to the gait analysis. There you can see an overview of duration, pace and route plus a detailed analysis of your past rides. On this page you can find a button to start tracking your training.

You can also click on the play button of the start page under your horse.

To get the most accurate results, you should position your smartphone in the pocket of your saddle pad or in your breeches pocket.

The jacket pocket is also possible, but a little less accurate. Here you can again distinguish between wide and narrow jacket pockets, with the narrow one being better.

Your past recordings, the gait analysis and in general entered trainings are displayed in the Training Journal on your start page. You can also find past trainings in your calendar. By clicking you get to the details or by swiping you open the last recording of the day.

Before you start recording, make sure that GPS is enabled in your phone settings and that you have allowed the app to use it. This is the only way to record distance and speed.

Consider that a weak signal or an activated energy-saving mode might also prevent recording.

After clicking on the play button under your horse or the Track your ride button in order to start the recording, you have the option to enter your training type. On this page you can also change the countdown before the recording starts and find advisement on phone placement.
